Fall 2025 Clayton County Football Registration Opens May 1st!

Important Information for Fall 2025 Participants:

• Eligibility: Children ages 4-12 may participate in Clayton County Football.
• Program Details:
  • U5 Flag Football: $80
  • U6 and Older Tackle Football: $155

Flag Football (U5):

• Includes: Shorts, a t-shirt, team pictures, and a participation award.
• Required: Participants must provide their own cleats and mouth guard.
• Provided: The park will supply flag belts for the season.

Tackle Football (U6 and Older):

• Includes: Game uniform, team picture package, and a trophy for every athlete.
• Required: Parents are encouraged to provide their child’s helmet and shoulder pads, but if needed, the park will provide these.
• Additional Gear Needed: Players must supply their own practice jersey and pants, thigh, knee, hip, and tailbone pads, mouth guard, cleats, socks, and an athletic supporter with a cup.
• Birth Certificate: A certified copy of the player’s birth certificate (with a raised seal) must be provided. The certificate will be returned after all teams are certified.

Nonresident Fee: There is an additional $25 fee for nonresident participants.

Important Dates and Details:

• Practices: Practices will begin in August. Kids will practice up to three times a week, typically on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The exact practice schedule will be determined once rosters are finalized after registration.
• Season Start: The regular season will kick off after Labor Day with games played on weekends through November.

We’re always on the lookout for passionate Volunteer Football Coaches to help guide and inspire our players! If you have a love for the game and want to make a difference in the lives of young athletes, we’d love for you to join our coaching team.

No Experience? No Problem!
While football experience is encouraged, it’s not required. We provide all the training and support you’ll need to succeed! Whether you’re coaching a team or assisting, we’ll make sure you’re fully prepared to lead and inspire your players.

What You Need to Know:

• Background Check: All coaches must pass a criminal background check to ensure the safety of our athletes.
• Training Provided: Every coach must complete the necessary training to ensure a positive and successful experience for both the coach and the players. Don’t worry—we’ll walk you through the whole process!
• Team Support: We provide all the resources you need to manage a team and create a fun, competitive environment for the kids.
