Parents Night Out

Clayton County Parks and Recreation presents: Parents Night Out May Series. This event will be held on the following Fridays: May 1st, May 8th, May 15th, May 22nd
and May 29th, 2026, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Lake Spivey Recreation Center; 2300 Walt Stephens Road Jonesboro, GA 30236. There will be a fee of $20 per child, aged 5-14.

The 2026 Fishing Derby

Where: Clayton County International Park,
2300 Hwy. 138 in Jonesboro (at the Upper Lake)

Time: 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Upper Lake.

When: Saturday, July 11, 2026 for free.

Open to all ages, showcase your fishing skills and compete for prizes awarded for the largest catfish and bass. Be sure to bring your own fishing poles and bait, come ready for a fun day by the lake!
