Greenspace Program

JESTERS CREEK TRAIL will be closed through Sunday, May 13, 2018

The Greenspace Office handles the day-to-day activities of administering the Clayton County Greenspace Program. Our community program is aimed at protecting the County's flood plains, wetlands, and areas near streams, as well as promoting alternative transportation corridors (e.g. bike and walking trails) that link various greenspace areas throughout Clayton County.

More information regarding both Clayton County's and the State of Georgia's Greenspace Programs can be obtained by contacting 770-603-4188  or by visiting the Georgia Greenspace Commission's Web site at

Citizens may nominate a property for Greenspace acquisition downloading the Questionnaire for Recommended Acquisitions (pdf)

We welcome your comments and suggestions for helping to keep Clayton County GREEN and beautiful!
